Monkery Collective is made out of four minds that seek to find a cosmic balance between their artistic expression (music) and the universe. Our first discography collection is a work prepared to cause a strong cosmic convulsion: four souls quite different from each other found a common space, music.

Talking about the artists, Caco is responsible for bringing electronic beats dyed in floydian guitar sounds; Odaminani brings bangers after bangers; and Stairstep joins in with musical compositions that go from the classical boom bap to the new urban tendencies. "Na Sombra do Convento" is the name of this compilation and it is composed by 8 tracks, 2 of them created by the whole group.

If you are expecting something linear, you won’t find it here. Metal was the beginning but here we only find distant relatives like hip hop or the less conventional electronic. You want names? Ok, I will give you some to entertain you: Tool, System of a Down, Sam The Kid, Pink Floyd, Massive Attack, Madlib or Kendrick Lamar. This snowball found various diffused points and created a hybrid that in the end is the music it should be: A sound without labels searching for a fatal attraction between itself and the listener.
